Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharm.)

Diploma in pharmacy offers basic education on formulation standardization, rational use & dispensing of modern & traditional medicines. Educated people in the modern era seek safe & rational medicines according to prescription through registered pharmacists & pharmacies. The central & state governments have stated & authorized Registered Pharmacists to store, purchase & sale of medicines. This has increased the demand & job opportunities for D. Pharm.

Admission Procedure

Through JEECUP Entrance Examination

  • Students who qualify Joint Entrance Examination Council Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP) conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) are eligible to apply and are admitted through counselling.
  • Candidate must have passed (with or without grace) intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Mathematics/Biology subject (PCB/PCM).

Note: Allocation of seats for PCB/PCM stream candidates will depend upon the number of applications received under a category (PCB/PCM stream).



Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm.)

Bachelor of pharmacy offers systemic education on procurement, synthesis, formulation, standardization, rational use, and marketing of modern and traditional medicines. With the increased level of literacy people of the whole world are cautious about their health and safe use of medicines. This drags the intention of pharma companies to search and invent new, effective, and safe molecules. This leads pharmacy to a multidisciplinary science. The increasing popularity of the traditional system opens many new demands and job options for pharmacy professionals.

Duration: 4 years (8 Semesters)
Seats: 60

Admission Procedure

Through Common University Entrance Test (CUET)

  • Students who qualify Common University Entrance Test (CUET) conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) are eligible to apply and are admitted through counselling.
  • Candidate must have passed (with or without grace) intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Mathematics/Biology subject (PCB/PCM).

Direct admission under Management Quota/ vacant seats after counselling of UPCET

  • Candidates must have passed intermediate examination or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Mathematics/Biology subject (PCB/PCM) with 45% marks for GEN/OBC (40% for SC/ST).
  • Applicants will have to go through the personal interaction/interview.

Note:Allocation of seats for PCB/PCM stream candidates will depend upon the number of applications received under a category (PCB/PCM stream).



B. Pharm. (Lateral Entry)

B. Pharm. (Lateral Entry) is a Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) approved course. This course is meant for students who want to go for marketing, production, quality assurance, and quality control sections of the Pharma Industry. It provides better exposure to practical skills.

Duration: 3 years
Seats: 10

Admission Procedure

Through Common University Entrance Test (CUET)

  • Students who qualify Common University Entrance Test (CUET) conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) are eligible to apply and are admitted through counselling.
  • Candidate must have passed (with or without grace) intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Mathematics/Biology subject (PCB/PCM).

Selection procedure:Admission to B. Pharm II Year will be made based on merit determined by marks obtained in D. Pharm. Candidates have to submit the result of the D. Pharm., preferably on or before the last date of submission of application form or as notified by the College. Candidate with result awaited may be offered, admission only after submission of result, if seats remain vacant.
