National Seminar – Accurate College of Pharmacy
As part of its commitment to experiential learning and industry integration, Accurate College of Pharmacy organized a highly enriching industrial visit for B. Pharm First Year students to Yakult
Danone India Pvt. Ltd. on 2nd July 2025.
Yakult, a global leader in probiotic beverages, provided an exceptional opportunity for students to witness the advanced manufacturing processes involved in the production of functional foods. The
visit offered in-depth exposure to state-of-the-art fermentation technology, automated bottling and packaging systems, and stringent quality control measures implemented in a GMP-compliant
facility.
Students were guided through various departments of the plant, where they observed the seamless integration of science, technology, and regulatory compliance in the large-scale production of
Yakult. Industry experts conducted interactive sessions highlighting the importance of probiotics in health, the role of pharmacists in nutraceutical innovation, and career opportunities in the
functional food and pharmaceutical industries.
This industrial visit proved to be an invaluable learning experience, enabling students to correlate academic knowledge with real-world practices. It also fostered awareness of global quality
standards, industrial workflows, and professional ethics essential for future healthcare professionals.
Such initiatives continue to strengthen the college’s vision of producing industry-ready pharmacy graduates equipped with both theoretical excellence and practical insight.
